We are a mercury-free practice. However, many people still have silver/mercury fillings in their mouths from years past. There are many advantages to tooth-colored restorations. Resin onlays are bonded to the teeth creating a tight, superior fit to the natural tooth. Such restorations can be used in instances where much of the tooth structure has been lost. The tooth remains intact and stronger.
Since the resin used in tooth-colored restorations contain fluoride this can help prevent decay. The resin wears like natural teeth and does not require placement at the gum line, which is healthier for your gums!

I went in for an initial examination after not seeing a dentist for over 4 years. My examination was very thorough and all dental issues were explained in non-clinical terms that I could understand. Dr. Johnson took the time to explain all my issues, the procedures that he recommends and the timing for each procedure in order of importance. He also thoroughly answered all of my questions and did not leave my side until I was satisfied and understood all of my conditions and options. The office staff was very friendly and inviting and helped me understand my insurance benefits so I could make an informed decision for my dental care. I never felt pressured to do anything that I was not comfortable with and I really appreciated the transparency of all the current and possible future charges. I had a fantastic experience and feel that I am in good hands.

Too ask me, for my experiences within the Dental Excellence facilities would be somewhat one sided; after all, my family and me have been under the care of both Dr. Johnson’s for over fifty years. One may ask are you going to stay or are you still looking for a Dentist. However, each and every time I see the staff and Doctor’s I am treated with respect and the best dental care available at any location. The feeling of being apricating as a patient and the conciseness of receiving state of the art care for all my family. It really doesn’t come any better than this care facilities.
